Great news! We can be found!

Sometimes we are lost and need to be found, I know I have been.

In Jeremiah 50:6, God says, “My people have been lost sheep. Their shepherds have led them astray; they have turned them away on the mountains. They have gone from mountain to hill; they have forgotten their resting place”. This was the thought pattern of God toward His chosen people. We have long been this way. People have maintained much of the same mannerisms and thought patterns then, as now.

Historical events of the Bible may be presumed to be as old as around 7,000 years, but not much has really changed in my opinion, aside from our attempts to recreate what God has already shown mastery in.

That said, we are all welcome to Him and welcome back to Him. 1 John 1:9 says that, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”. So, let us be honest, faithful, and upfront with God so we can be found for ourselves and ultimately for Him. He will restore, refresh, and reimpose your righteousness without holding a grudge.
