We Do Have a Fear.

The truth and the Truth are, that there is only one thing to fear and that’s the Truth - our God.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Isaiah 35:4 states, “Say to those who are fearful-hearted, ”Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God.”

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Not that we would necessarily want vengeance on anyone, but that is the truth of what will take place.

Then, Luke 23:28 says, “But Jesus, turning to them, said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. For indeed the days are coming in which they will say, ‘Blessed are the barren, wombs that never bore, and breasts which never nursed!’ Then they will begin to say to the mountains, “Fall on us!” and to the hills, “Cover us!” ’For if they do these things in the green wood, what will be done in the dry?”

Basically saying that if with the way things are so graciously provided to us, HOW THEN WILL THOSE BE TREATED IN EVEN HARSHER CONDITIONS which are to come?

I’m not sure what you would say, but as for me, if I am going to be fearful of anything, let that fear be of God’s “vengeance” on those who stand against Him and His children. And if such a prayer shall go out today, that prayer shall concern the lost, blind, and stiff-necked. If that is me, let it be about me; if that is somebody else, let that prayer be about somebody else. For we need not fear of anything, but that of the Truth - our God.
